Wow, 2013 is here. A myriad of opportunities awaits us all. I am excited!
At the beginning of every school year, I always give the same ‘talk’ to my new students. I tell them, ‘This year is going to be your best year ever.’ And I actually mean it. I genuinely believe, with 100% conviction, that this year WILL be my students’ best year ever.
So as we begin this year, I want to give you, amazing educator, my ‘talk’ – here it is:
THIS IS GOING TO BE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER.
That’s it.
Simple.
THIS IS GOING TO BE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER.
I genuinely believe this, with 100% conviction. 2013 will be incredible.
This week’s assignment:
Believe these words for yourself: 2013 will be my best year ever.
I look forward to continuing the journey with you this year.
Enjoy the journey,
And more importantly,
Enjoy the moments.

Question: What is the best New Year’s advice you’ve ever received?
You can leave a comment by clicking here.
Megan, thank you for your encouragement and inspiration! The best New Years advice I was ever given was not too set impractical goals that would leave me feeling defeated by February, but small incremental steps towards the big one!
Shalom,
Jim
Yes, small incremental steps is good advice. Thanks Jim.
