It’s A Boy!

I wanted to share my exciting news with you.

Many of you may know already, but I now have a beautiful baby boy! His name is Maddox and he was born a couple of months ago. He is just divine. (For those of you who want to know numbers – he was 6 pounds 8 ounces (2.95kg) and 49.5cm long).

Maddox’s big sister, Zarriah, is totally enjoying him and has certainly been helping me look after him. Too cute!

Becoming a parent again has reminded me afresh of the incredible privilege we have as teachers to influence and shape young lives.

This week, remember that every student you teach IS a miracle and you have a unique opportunity to play a positive and memorable part of that student’s life journey. Make it count.
