Last week I wrote about getting enough sleep during this holiday season. I hope you have had an extra dose of slumber over the last 7 days!
This week I am encouraging you, in your extra-rested state, to remember to keep your body active during these holidays. I’m not talking about working out at the gym 7 days a week and I am certainly not suggesting that you deprive yourself of sleep to do this either! (Keep enjoying your sleep-ins and Nana Naps!) However, what I am saying is that keeping active is another great way of refreshing and rejuvenating whilst you’re on school holidays.
This week’s assignment:
Move your body! Take the dog for a stroll (not a 2 hour power walk!) around the block. Put in your Ipod and crank up your favourite song and move your body. Put the kids in the car and go to the beach for a swim. Buy a good coffee and go for a walk in a park near your house. Do something that keeps your body moving and your blood flowing, all the while contributing to your improved health and vitality these school holidays.
